How do I get started?

Please reach out with questions and to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. I am happy to tell you more about my practice and if I am the right therapist for you!

Is therapy confidential?

Therapy is confidential except under the following circumstances:

1. There is suspected abuse of a child, elder, or dependent adult, which I am required by law to report to the appropriate authorities.

2. A client makes threats of serious bodily harm to another person(s), which I am required to report to police and inform the intended victim.

3.A client intends to harm themselves, in which case I will first attempt to collaborate on a plan to ensure safety. If a client is unwilling or unable to complete a safety plan, I may be required to notify authorities to seek hospitalization or to contact family members who can ensure the client’s protection.

4. If a court of law issues a subpoena, I may be required to disclose some information discussed in therapy.

How do I pay for therapy?

Payments are due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Payments can be made with cash, zelle, or credit card. For additional information check out our pricing and polices.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I am an out-of-network provider.

I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I am unable to guarantee reimbursement and encourage you to speak with your insurance provider to verify your mental health, out-of-network benefits.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule our appointment?

All cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled session. Please note Monday appointments will need to be canceled the Friday before.

If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full fee for the missed session, except in the event of an emergency.

What should I do if I'm in crisis?

In case of a medical or clinical emergency, including a threat to your safety or the safety of others, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
